New Golfing Online Magazine

The Golf Visitor is an online Golf Magazine published by David Wyke. It chronicles David’s various golfing related travels/adventures and forays into the world of gastronomy and fine hotels.

The site is currently in mid stages of development from an editorial point of view and is built on a very flexible content management system that allows David to edit the vast majority of the sites content requiring very little web design knowledge.

We are looking forward to watching he site develop into a really interesting and useful site in the very popular golf and travel sector.

The Google Streetview Car Photographing in Colwyn Bay, North Wales

Big day today in Colwyn Bay, North Wales as Google finally takes the trouble to put us on the map with its “Google Streeview” technology! As you can clearly see they have a camera pointing in eight different directions at once along with a GPS module.

If you want a live view of Colwyn Bay town centre you can visit the Colwyn Bay Webcam! The car was also spotted in Llandudno North Wales last week!

This driver was pursued by a swift minisite web designer with a camera, trying to keep up for some minutes before the driver gunned it down Seaview Road in Colwyn Bay, I wonder how his pics will come out?!

We are delighted to launch another Anglesey Holiday Cottages and Self catering website. Anglesey Breaks has an outstanding range of self catering properties in this popular area of North Wales. Livetech are currently looking for a Trainee Internet Marketer to work within our extremely successful, positive & expanding team. The position is originally part time, but with the right candidate and development it would hopefully expand to a full time position.

Your job will be assisting the current marketing and web design teams with both the design and content creation for client and internal websites, as well as using existing knowledge of online technologies and services to help promote them.

You will have a passion for the Internet and web based technologies, have existing knowledge in HTML & Search Engine Optimization and experience in using packages such as Dreamweaver and Fireworks, desirable though not essential. You will also need the ability to write in clear & concise English - ideally with examples (such as a weblog) and the ability to carry out research on a wide range of topics. Knowledge of Welsh would also serve as an advantage.

It is essential that you have a well developed portfolio of sites that you have created, these could be blogs, commercial websites or personal sites and these will be the primary shortlisting criteria.

You will need to be able to work to deadlines and have good communication skills within your team. You must also be motivated and focused on tasks.

This is a fantastic opportunity and opening for a talented Internet Marketer in this rapidly developing sector.
