idrive.com is a very low cost and effective entry level online backup solution. I have had quite a lot of success using it for straightforward backup situations.

One problem I have noticed that i cannot find documented is the application’s tendancy to steal memory resources, with a relatively modest backup set. The screenshot to the left illustrates this point and relates to a backup set of around 50 Gb. I’m wondering if anyone else out there is experiencing the same issue and if there is a simple solution?
