Paul’s work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, digital transformation, and long-term human performance. Over four decades, he has built and led across engineering, education, digital services, property, community development, and evidence-based health. The unifying thread is not industry but a consistent focus on how complex systems actually behave in the real world — and what that means for the people making decisions inside them.
When decisions carry long-term consequences and easy answers fall apart, decision quality matters more than speed.
He began his career within a major engineering group, developing a deep respect for structure, feedback loops, and failure modes. This early grounding continues to shape how he evaluates businesses, technologies, and operating models today.
Paul later moved into teaching within the UK state school system, where he developed what became his most transferable skill: translating complexity into clarity without losing substance.
In 2000, anticipating the shift toward a digitally mediated economy, he founded Livetech. Over the next 25 years, he grew it into a durable, regionally respected digital and marketing business, known for long-standing client relationships, calm leadership, and the delivery of business-critical systems rather than short-term campaigns. His work increasingly focused on diagnosis, decision-making, and digital infrastructure rather than surface-level execution.
Alongside this, Paul developed a portfolio of purpose-built office workspaces, designed to support concentration, autonomy, and professional community. This work deepened his interest in how environment, health, and performance interact – an interest that has since expanded into a broader exploration of longevity, vitality, and evidence-led health practice.
He is an active contributor to the regional business ecosystem in North Wales, including long-standing involvement with the North Wales Business Club, and is a founder of the Recovery Trust, reflecting a sustained commitment to social impact and to addressing complex, often overlooked harms at both individual and community levels.
